Jamie Mccarthy / Getty Images In case you forgot, 21-year-old Millie and her 23-year-old husband, Jake Bongiovi, announced on Aug. 21 that they'd recently become parents to a "sweet baby girl through adoption." View this photo on Instagram Instagram: @undefined A couple of weeks later, Millie gave fans a glimpse of new-parent life on IG, posting a sweet photo of Jake holding their baby girl in a carrier while walking toward a plane. But, aside from that, we've not heard a whole lot from the pair on their parenting journey - until now. @milliebobbybrown / Via instagram.com Millie is British Vogue's December cover star, and her interview for the magazine was conducted in separate parts. Firstly, speaking to the outlet about a week before she and Jake shared their baby news in August, Millie was asked what she and Jake wanted for the future, to which she responded: "Definitely kids, I really want a big family - I'm one of four; he's one of four. I don't see having your own child, you know, as really any different [than] adopting." Leonardo Fernandez / Getty Images Knowing what we know now, this quote has aged beautifully. And while chatting with the interviewer a few weeks later, once the baby news was public, Millie shared some adorable insights into life as a new mom and her "beautiful, amazing" adoption journey. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It's just endless joy." As for parenting duties, she said she and Jake "are 50-50 on everything." "That's why I'm so grateful to have partnered with him in this life," she added, "he is just the most amazing dad." Xny / Getty Images "For me, it's really important to protect her and her story until she's old enough to potentially one day share it herself. It's not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly," she explained. "If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that's something we'd support. But right now, as she's so little...

As her parents, it's our job to protect her from that." Patricia J. Garcinuno / Getty Images If you've followed Millie for a while, you'll know she's made no secret of her desire to have kids fairly young. "My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake," she said during an appearance on the SmartLess podcast in March. "Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me." Nbc / Getty Images Notably, Millie and Jake, who live together on a farm in Georgia, got married in May 2024 when they were aged 20 and 22, respectively. Their decision to tie the knot at a young age has been a buzzy topic of conversation - and the chatter has only dialed up since the pair became parents. Ndz / Getty Images Millie has previously brushed off the suggestion that she's moving through adult milestones too soon in life, assuring fans that she and Jake were "pretty united" in their desire to marry at this age. And now, as they've transitioned from newlyweds to new parents, she's addressed the discourse again. Kristina Bumphrey / Getty Images Discussing her marriage, Millie said: "I understood I was young - I know that, I truly just can't say it enough. When you meet that person, you know it." She later added: "I'm 21. I've still got so much more in me. I treat every day like it's going to disappear...

If I'm gonna be your punching bag, it's almost like I'm the right person for it. Because I don't care anymore." Samir Hussein / Getty Images Well, there you have it. You can find the full British Vogue cover interview here.
