David Livingston / Getty Images Back in June, Amanda revealed that she was starting Ozempic - a medication typically used to treat type 2 diabetes that can also cause weight loss. She said she made the decision because she wanted to "look better in paparazzi pictures," after previously sharing her struggles with weight gain. Mega / Getty Images "I'm so excited," she said on Instagram at the time. "I'm 173 now, so I hope to get down to 130, which would be awesome, so I look better in paparazzi pictures." @amandapandapandapanda1 / Via @Instagram: @https://www.instagram.com/amandapandapandapanda1/?hl=en Fast forward to today, when Amanda - who lives a fairly private life in Los Angeles and is rarely spotted in public - took to Instagram to share an update on her progress. Bg025 / Getty Images In a video shared to her Instagram Story, Amanda said, "I've lost 20 pounds so far - I'm so excited about that to be honest." @amandapandapandapanda1 She also said she's aiming to lose more. "I want to lose about 50 more pounds," Amanda shared. "I'm 163 now - I actually shot up on the Ozempic pill to 180 from 173, so I was able to lose 20 pounds from 180, and now, I'm down to 163 on the Ozempic injection." Mega / Getty Images For clarity, Ozempic is only available in an injectable form; however, the active ingredient in it, semaglutide, is also sold in pill form under the name Rybelsus. Some side effects of semaglutide can include bloating and weight gain. "So I'm really glad that I'm on the injection. It's really working for me, and I'm trying to lose more weight just to feel skinny and cute," she added. Mega / Getty Images Amanda didn't show much of herself in the clip, but her face did appear noticeably slimmer. You see the full clip now on her Instagram Story before it disappears.
