"I've always thought her downfall was her hopeless grasp of money, combined with her desire to have more and more of it," royal expert Jennie Bond said. "She allowed her debts to spiral on a level few of us would understand." _ Sarah Ferguson also reportedly lost money on her investment property [a townhouse in Belgravia] when she sold it for £3.85 million [$5 million USD] after snapping it up for £4.25 million [$5.5 million] three years prior.
