The Devil Wears Prada 2 has taken over New York City - but there are tons of questions about which original stars are returning for the sequel. Rumors started swirling in 2024 that a follow-up to 2006's The Devil Wears Prada was in the works. However, things weren't fully confirmed until May 2025 when production on the second film officially kicked off. (The movie is set to hit theaters in May 2026.) The first movie is based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel, The Devil Wears Prada, while the sequel is set to follow a similar story to 2013's Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns.
