The network has announced its premiere dates for the start of the 2025-26 season, and they do not include second-year drama The Hunting Party. The show was initially set to be part of NBC's Thursday lineup but will now get a midseason berth. In place of The Hunting Party will go the most recent season of Law & Order: Organized Crime, which streamed on Peacock in the spring. It will join the other two members of the L&O franchise, the original series and SVU, for an all-Law & Order night in the fall beginning Sept. 25. The future of Organized Crime on Peacock isn't decided yet, and star Christopher Meloni last week took a role on a Hulu series - though sources say he could potentially do both shows. NBC is also punting (at least for now) on placing its recently ordered comedy series The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins and Stumble on in the late fall. Instead, second-year shows St. Denis Medical (Mondays) and Happy's Place (Fridays) are scheduled to air two episodes per week beginning in early November, though that could change as the two new shows begin production and start to deliver episodes. The Voice and Brilliant Minds will return to their Monday spots starting Sept. 22, and the three Chicago shows debut Oct. 1. The Jimmy Fallon-led marketing competition show On Brand will air on Tuesdays and Fridays for a few weeks beginning Sept. 30 before moving to Friday only in October. NBC's NBA deal kicks in with the opening night of the season, Oct. 21. Saturday Night Live kicks off its 51st season on Oct. 4. NBC's fall premiere dates are below.
