Erika Kirk (née Frantzve) is opening up about life as a single mother in her first TV interview since Charlie Kirk's death. In a sneak peek of her chat with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Erika, 36, revealed that her 3-year-old daughter has questions about what happened to her father. "Yes, my daughter continues to ask, but it's really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things," Erika shared with Watters, 47, in an interview set to air Wednesday, November 5. "I said, 'If ever you want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking to him - he can hear you.'" While Erika - who also has a 17-month-old son - previously told her kids that their dad is on a "work trip with Jesus," she has been able to share a little more context with her oldest child. I said, 'Baby, we will all go one day.'" On September 10, Charlie was shot and killed during a speech at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, as part of his American Comeback Tour. He was 31. The conservative commentator and head of Turning Point USA was honored with a public memorial at Arizona's State Farm Stadium on September 21. During the televised event, Erika delivered a eulogy for her husband and said she forgave the suspected shooter. In September, law enforcement arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. He was charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, two counts of obstruction of justice, two counts of witness tampering and committing a violent offense in the presence of a child. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. From Erika's perspective, she supports transparency during the trial. "There were cameras all over my husband when he was murdered. There have been cameras all over my friends and family mourning," she said in another sneak peek clip. "There have been cameras all over me analyzing my every move, analyzing my every smile, my every tear. We deserve to have cameras in there. Why not be transparent? There's nothing to hide. I know there's not, because I've seen what the case is built on." She continued, "Let everyone see what true evil is. This is something that could impact a generation and generations to come."
