Love Is Blind season 9 star "Sparkle" Megan Walerius is revealing what fans didn't see when it comes to her relationship with Jordan Keltner. "When Jordan and I entered 'real life,' things were great for a while. I was pretty confident about our journey and where we were headed," Megan, 35, began in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, revealing that 10 days before the wedding things changed. "We had our first full day without cameras and without work," she continued. "It was just him and I and our chance to connect and have fun without cameras or anything. I saw a different side of Jordan - not bad, but very quiet." Megan recalled things feeling "awkward," prompting her to question if they had enough in common. What to Know About 'Love Is Blind' Star Sparkle Megan's Boyfriend Paul "It was a little scary for me, seeing this version of him. You're about to walk down the aisle in 10 days, and then it's like, 'Holy crap. This is a totally different Jordan than I was used to,'" she explained. "I think there's a multitude of factors. He and I have kind of unpacked it since. The demands of filming are a lot more intense than I think people realize. Jordan really was working at his 9 to 5, and then managing both time with me and [his son] Luca, I think that was a lot for him and wore on him. Those days without cameras, he really needed to recharge but it was a little scary for me. Like, 'Do we really have that much in common?' Or when this is all said and done, are we just going to be sitting across the dinner table staring at each other? Are we actually going to have fun like we did in the pods and have that connection?'" Megan noted that viewers "only see a very small portion of our time together," so she's not surprised to learn that they were confused by her decision to end things the day before the pair's scheduled wedding. Megan Walerius and Jordan Keltner Adam Rose/Netflix (2) "It was kind of like we were doing so well, so the breakup for some people came out of nowhere. But that whole week leading up to the wedding, Jordan and I were very transparent with one another, and we had multiple conversations. Certainly neither of us were blindsided by that breakup," she claimed. Jordan previously told Us that he believed Megan made the decision not to marry him the morning before their impending nuptials. Both of them, however, noted that they agreed not to go to the wedding if they weren't both planning to say "I do." "We had gotten into this with the agreement that if neither of us are 110 percent, let's not do this," Megan said. "My parents have gotten divorced. I have friends that have gotten divorced. My sister [is divorced]. When I finally say, 'I do,' this is putting a lot of pressure on myself, but I do not want to get divorce. I want to be in it forever. And as the wedding approached with Jordan, I was having those doubts, and I was very honest with him about it. I couldn't get there." Fans learned on the season 9 reunion that Megan spent time with fellow cast members Mike Brockway and Blake Anderson after her split from Jordan. "I was still in LA when the experiment ended. You saw this on the reunion, the whole pod squad was a little, like, everyone was dating everybody," she explained of meeting your previous pod connections in person. "But I would also say dates were a loose term. I met up with Mike twice. There's just some curiosity and even closure there because I had never met him in person. The Blake thing, I think, was more on him to formally apologize. He's such a good guy, and there's no hard feelings there." 'Love Is Blind' Couples Status Check: Who Is Still Together? Megan subsequently met her now-boyfriend and the father of son Brooks, Paul Wegman. Fans have been critical of how quickly she seemed to move on from her failed engagement, with Megan and Paul getting pregnant within three months of their relationship. "People are going to say what they're going to say. I think the beauty of this experience is that it teaches you what you want and what you don't want. Regardless of the outcome, you learn a ton about yourself and what you need in a relationship and a marriage and a partnership and that was certainly the case for me," she told Us. "Four months after Jordan and I ended things, I met Paul, and we just immediately clicked. I knew he was everything that I wanted in a partner. I think it's funny that people are criticizing me for, like, moving so quickly, having a baby, whatever, but they're not commenting at all on this. The Love Is Blind experience is you're getting married in seven weeks, right? But yet, it's crazy for me to meet somebody in three months." Megan told Us that it's hard for her to articulate why Paul is The One for her. "When you know you, you just know - that's how it was immediately with Paul," she said. "I think with Jordan there were still some things that I had doubts about. Paul and I - we know how to communicate. We're emotionally available with one another. W
