So, let's take a look back at some of the experiences that have been shared: 1. At age 25, Simone Biles, who is 4'8", was offered a coloring book on a flight. "Not the flight attendant trying to give me a coloring book when I board," she said at the time. "I said, 'No, I'm good. I'm 25.'"i'm crying at the thought of a flight attendant giving simone biles the most decorated gymnast in history a coloring book because she is 4'8" pic.twitter.com/s03QHpUUH8- matt (@mattxiv) July 9, 2022 Twitter: @mattxiv / @simonebiles / Via instagram.com 2. In 2021, Ariana Grande, then 27, was mistaken for an underage student by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck. He told Insider, "There was a table of young people - girls and boys and everybody - and I talked to them; I thought that maybe they were in school or in college or whatever." Puck recalled telling the group, "Oh, no school today, you're all out celebrating," before asking if they had IDs. Leonardo Munoz / Getty Images Ariana is reportedly 5'2". 3. Earlier this year, Natalie Portman, now 44, detailed how she and other child stars are "often treated like tiny adults," before revealing that her height - 5'3" - hasn't helped. Speaking of herself and Jenna Ortega, who is 5'1", she said, "We're both physically tiny, so people will often treat you like a child forever...I'm 43 now, and people kind of pat me on the head. I don't look like a child, but I often feel like I'm treated like a kid. Child actors often cultivate a serious persona because otherwise they'll get treated like kids forever. When you start working as a kid, you kind of always feel like a kid in the workplace. Having some of that seriousness helps remind people, 'I'm a grown-up.'" Dominique Charriau / Getty Images 4. Jenna, 23, echoed Natalie's comments, noting that she struggles to be "taken seriously" as a shorter actor. "I relate to that so immensely, and it's always been really annoying, because you just don't feel like you're being taken seriously," she said. "You know, it's like how you're dressed in the schoolgirl costume [on Wednesday]. ... There's just something about it that's very patronizing. Also, when you're short, people are already physically looking down on you." Frazer Harrison / Getty Images 5. Back in 2004, Kristen Bell - who is reportedly 5'1" - revealed that she still got carded for R-rated films - and "talked down to" whenever she tried doing typical adult things. "I'm carded for R-rated movies...
And I get talked down to a lot. When I try to go rent a car or buy an airplane ticket or other stuff adults do, I get, 'Okaaay, honey.' I remember when I was 18, getting crayons in a restaurant," she shared. Monica Schipper / Getty Images 6. Though he's certainly not the shortest celeb on this list, Thomas Brodie-Sangster - who is reportedly about 5'10" - frequently goes viral for how young he looks. During a 2017 interview, he admitted that being perceived as younger has "bothered" him as he detailed being carded when trying to buy alcohol at age 25. "Throughout my life, it has bothered me a little bit. Like, if I'm going to the corner shop without my ID and I want to buy a beer, and I'm like, 'I'm 25!'" he said. Dave Benett / Getty Images 7. Cynthia Erivo, who is 5'1", revealed during an interview last year that she's often perceived as "small," "weak," or "childlike" because of her height. "A lot of people don't realize I am as short as I am until they meet me," she began. "I think there have been times often that people assume that because you're small, you are weak or because you're small, sometimes people - they often decide that because you're small, you're also childlike, which sometimes is really strange 'cause you have to sort of correct people and let them understand, 'Well, actually, I'm a fully grown adult. I just happen to be small.'" John Nacion / Getty Images Cynthia went on to note that sitting on high chairs can be a struggle at 5'1" because her legs are left "swinging off the ground." She added, "Podiums are hilarious 'cause sometimes you're also like, you know what? Today I'm just going to swallow my pride and ask them for a little step so I can reach the podium and feel like I'm a normal height and reach this thing so I'm not having to tiptoe ever so slightly or wear, you know, 15-inch heels... Stools, high chairs are really, sometimes, quite difficult because, you know, if you're singing an
