The show opened with cohost Alfonso Ribeiro addressing Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten's absence from the live show. "She suffered an injury in rehearsal this morning," he revealed. "Right now, she's at the hospital being assessed." Hendrix shared a video from the hospital as the competition continued.
