In the clip, the 84-year-old signs a book while telling the fashion designer to start writing her own. _ The public claimed Emma Grede double-crossed Meghan Markle by recruiting Martha Stewart to support her project. "Emma Grede hired Meghan Markle to cater her dinner party and then dropped this book with a cameo of Martha Stewart. Now THIS is how it's done!" one person wrote on X. "So, Emma used Meghan! Nice change. It benefits Emma more than it does Meghan," a second said. "I don't trust Emma Grede. I think she is like Meghan, will do anything, use anyone to climb the ladder to what she deems is success," a third added. "All of Meghan's friends are transactional. Never forget that," a fourth chimed in. _ Martha Stewart previously gave her take on Meghan Markle entering the lifestyle space with her Netflix show With Love, Meghan and her As Ever brand. "Meghan, I don't really know very well. I hope she knows what she's talking about," she said in an interview. "Authenticity, to me, is everything and to be authentic and knowledgeable about your subject matter is extremely important." _ According to Daily Express columnist Mieka Smiles, authenticity is an issue for Meghan Markle. "A lot of her terrible press is brought on by her total inability to tell the truth about who she is. Because here in Britain we value truth-tellers," the royal expert wrote. "Which is why Meghan's shtick has worn out so quickly."
