Tobey Maguire had played the role of Spider-Man from 2002 to 2007. He starred as the superhero in Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, and Spider-Man 3, all directed by Sam Raimi. Ever since the discontinuation of his franchise, fans have been particularly eager to know whether the actor would ever return as Spider-Man for future installations.
