Her role in the upcoming film Shakti Shalini was confirmed during the post-credit scene of Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's Thamma. Now, Khurrana has officially welcomed the Saiyaara star in the MHCU and penned a lovely note for her. Expressing his joy over a fellow Punjabi bagging a big project, Ayushmann wrote, "Welcome to the MHCU @aneetpadda_ Punjabi aa gaye oye!! From one dreamer to another- keep chasing what you want.
