The Real Housewives of Potomac's Stacey Rusch is trying to be a good friend to Dr. Wendy Osefo after her arrest. "We've been communicating," Stacey exclusively shared with Us Weekly while promoting season 10 of the Bravo reality show on Friday, October 24. "I saw her last week, and it was really good to see her and put my arms around her and to support her, and that's all I can do right now as her friend and allow her to do the rest." Wendy and her husband, Eddie Osefo, found themselves in a legal situation when they were indicted on various charges, including insurance fraud, conspiracy insurance fraud and making false statements to police officers on October 9. The couple have denied the charges and vowed to fight the accusations in court. "Thank you for the outpouring of love, support and prayers for myself and most importantly my family during this time. We are forever grateful🙏🏾." After Stacey showed her support by writing "Love you ❤️," Wendy responded with her own personal message. "@msstaceyrusch Thank you for being a true friend and sister," she wrote in the comments section. "I love you 🤍." While speaking with Us on Friday, Stacey acknowledged that her friendship with Wendy has had some bumps ever since she joined season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac in 2024. Munn/Bravo via Getty Images) "I don't think that it is news to anyone that following the reunion, we had a complicated relationship, but you will see the ups and downs of our friendship this season," Stacey teased. "My thoughts and my prayers are with her, and of course, her beautiful family. I hope for the best for her." A rep for both Wendy and Eddie previously released a statement to Us saying the couple are "grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans and colleagues." "The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court," the statement continued. "At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead." Wendy's legal drama aside, Stacey is excited for fans to witness plenty of twists and turns as season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac continues airing on Bravo. Wendy and Stacey filmed with Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Keiarna Stewart, along with newcomers Tia Glover and Angel Massie. The ladies were also joined by friends Jassi Rideaux and Monique Samuels. "I love the new girls," Stacey told Us. "I think that they have beautiful stories to be told. I think they have adorable families, and I think that people will fall in love with them the more they get to meet them." While it's unclear if Karen Huger will be making an appearance later in the season, Stacey joked that she doesn't necessarily miss her friendship with the Grand Dame of Potomac. Wendy Osefo Weighed In on Karen Huger's Release Days Before Own Fraud Arrest At the same time, she would welcome Karen back with open arms. "We had a great season and a full season," Stacey declared. "We're only four episodes in, and look at everything that has happened, right? But Potomac is not Potomac without Karen Huger.
