Kate Gosselin is not asking for donations amid her recovery from her leg injury. The Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum, 50, took to TikTok on Wednesday, October 22, to shut down a rumor that she started a GoFundMe page. "People keep saying mean things or asking me about a GoFundMe page," she told her followers. "I do not have a GoFundMe page. I will not be starting a GoFundMe page. So, please, unless you read it on my TikTok page, it's not true." Gosselin then gave her boyfriend, former bodyguard Steve Neild, a rare shout-out by saying, "I have my own source of GoFundMe, thank God. His name is Steve. He's been taking very good care of me, and I will be OK, thank God. I'm super appreciative." Kate Gosselin Says Boyfriend's Name During Livestream After Surgery Gosselin reminded viewers again to check her page for accurate updates on her recovery and added, "I'm recovering from surgery. I will move on. Thank God. It's expensive, yes, but life happens, you gotta pay for it." In the caption, the former TLC personality wrote, "The rumor mill is churning and I'm clearing them up! I DO NOT HAVE A GO FUND ME PAGE ... and I will not be making one 😤." The video came weeks after Gosselin took to the platform on September 30 with a photo of an IV in her arm and a request for prayers. "I will be fine, but I'm scared and would appreciate your prayers! Thanks, guys," she wrote at the time. In a later update, Gosselin revealed that she underwent surgery for a leg injury after her dog Meika accidentally ran into her during a game of fetch. Steve Neild, Kate Gosselin James Devaney/WireImage "I will never forget the power of that impact," she said. "It made a thud sound - not a breaking bone sound, a thud sound. And I just froze and crumpled." Gosselin has since been keeping fans updated on her recovery via TikTok, sharing daily videos that often include mentions of Neild, whose face has remained off camera. In one video, she shared a glimpse of a bowl of cereal that Neild made for her, writing, "Breakfast made with extra love ... by you know who." In another video, Gosselin gave Neild a sweet shout-out while listing people and things she is grateful for. "My boyfriend, whom I love even more for taking all this extra work that I am now," she wrote. Gosselin revealed just days before her accident that she had been dating someone "for the past year to a little over a year, maybe like 14, 15 months." Why Kate Gosselin Is Spending Thanksgiving With BF Steve Instead of Her Kids "I am super, super happy. It's somebody that I've known for a really long time and I am very, very happy," she added in the September 22 Q&A video. Though Gosselin initially remained tight-lipped about her boyfriend's identity, she later slipped up in a livestream and referred to him as "Steve." Additionally, Page Six identified him as Neild. Kate's ex-husband, Jon Gosselin - with whom she shares twins Mady and Cara, 25, and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Hannah, Leah, Joel and Alexis, 21 - spoke out about the relationship that same week, seemingly suggesting that Kate and Neild began seeing each other much sooner than she claimed. "Guess who really ruined the marriage," Jon, 48, wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of Kate and Neild. He also included a screenshot of the Page Six article. "Read for yourself." In the caption, Jon added, "Maybe when I speak people will listen now!!!"
