Rylee Arnold and Scott Hoying didn't clinch the Dancing With the Stars mirrorball, but they won something more valuable - a lasting friendship. "I truly couldn't have asked for a better partner this season!! Scott, you were so amazing in every way," Arnold, 20, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, October 22. "Your patience, work ethic, laughter and kindness carried me through every single rehearsal and you helped me grow in so so many ways. I'm so proud of everything you did!" She continued, "You worked so hard and you put your entire heart into the competition and I couldn't be more grateful! You improved so much week by week and it was so surreal to be by your side experiencing it with you. It was absolutely amazing working with a person like you, you have insane creativity, talent and just everything about this season with you was perfect." Hoying, 34, and Arnold were eliminated at the end of Wicked Night on Tuesday, October 21. The pair performed a contemporary dance to "The Wizard and I" and scored a 28 out of 40 from the judges. (The regular panel of Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli was joined by Wicked director Jon M. Chu.) 'DWTS' Ends in Emotional Elimination After 'Wicked' Night: Who Went Home? "I will forever cherish the memories we made this season and I know we will make so many more together, and most of all thank you for being you and lifting me up and being there for me in every way," Arnold concluded in her social media upload. "I couldn't have done it without you, and gaining a new best friend in this process was just the best part of it all! Scott is seriously one of the most genuine, kind and caring people I know and I'm so grateful that he is in my life now. Thank you for this amazing season, Scott, it was everything and more!" Hoying responded to Arnold's glowing tribute in the comments section of her post, saying the pair "ate" week after week in the ballroom competition. "One of the most thrilling, beautiful, fulfilling experiences of my entire life and I am so grateful for every single moment," Hoying wrote. "Can't thank you enough for being the best bestie, dance partner, choreographer, therapist, mentor, superstar I could've ever dreamed of. Thank you. We had SO much fun." Eric McCandless/Disney via Getty Images DWTS season 34 will also hold a special place in the Pentatonix singer's heart because it was where he revealed that he's expecting his first baby with husband Mark via surrogate. "I knew instantly when I heard [it was] Dedication Night, I thought [of] Mark because he changed my life in every way and I love him so much and this all lined up so perfectly," Scott exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. "We actually didn't really originally plan to announce it, and then we found out and we've just decided it's just so special. It's a really good memory and we're honored to have Rylee be a part of it."
