On Friday, October 17, Javid filed a petition for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court. She listed the date of marriage as March 21, 2018, and the date of separation as the date of the filing. Javid, 53, cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and asked that neither party be awarded spousal support. The exes share a 6-year-old son named Shams.
