In his book, out Oct. 21, Kevin has included several allegations about his ex, including a claim that Britney stood in their sons' room holding a knife while they were sleeping. The former dancer also made claims about the "Baby One More Time" singer's current state. "The truth is, this situation with Britney feels like it's racing toward something irreversible," Kevin writes in the memoir. "It's become impossible to pretend everything's OK." For her part, however, Britney broke her silence on her exes' "hurtful" book and claims about her strained relationship with their sons. "I have felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life," the "Sometimes" singer wrote on X Oct. 15. "Sadly, they have always witnessed the lack of respect shown by own father for me. They need to take responsibility for themselves."
