"Match, don't match, or switch it up midday," the fake game show contestant boasts of the fake-hairy underwear. But there's nothing fake about the endless possibilities she teases - the $32 underwear comes in 12 different colors, with options for straight or curly textures. As you'd suspect, the Instagram comment section is blowing up with responses to the unexpected product drop. One person said it feels like an April Fools joke: "I just googled the date to make sure it's not April 1st." "I'm calling 911," wrote another. "Do we wash this in the washer or use shampoo and conditioner lmao," some else joked. "Only $32 plus shipping and tax to have the bush you always dreamt of," another person said. The wildest part, though? In under 24 hours, the underwear completely sold out in every color. "You loved it - our most daring panty yet is now officially sold out," the SKIMS website says. Kim Kardashian / SKIMS / Via skims.com Shoppers who missed their chance to snag the Kim Kardashian-approved bush have the option to join the waitlist for a restock. But despite the website's claims, the discussion of the product on X doesn't exactly scream "loved it." "Spent a million on laser hair removal just to drop this product. I hate the Kardashians man. 😩," one person wrote. @itslinklauren / Via x.com In a similar vein, someone else highlighted the hypocrisy of promoting body hair when Kardashian has historically represented "a false image of women's bodies": @karlafraancesca / Via x.com Another person called the product a "disgusting" commodification of the female body: @minergirlsof / Via x.com Amidst all the backlash, people are also finding the humor in it all: "Kinda love that the world is burning and her only concern is underwear technology," one tweet says. @pissboymcgee / Via x.com "they done made a dumbledore skims bush," someone else said, making an astute comparison between the hair-covered underwear and Albus Dumbledore's shaggy beard. @siimbie/ Warner Bros. Pictures / Via x.com Harry Potter? More like Hairy Potter. "this isn't even enough fabric to cover my actual bush let's be real here," one person joked. @marievol6 / Via x.com Love it or hate it, Kardashian achieved what she set out to do: make money, and get people talking.
