The 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 with Gujarat Tourism concluded on a spectacular note, celebrating the best of Indian cinema. As always, the coveted Black Lady was awarded to the most deserving talents in the industry. Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies emerged as the night's biggest winner, taking home 13 awards, including Best Film and Best Director for Rao. The star-studded ceremony, held at EKA Arena in Ahmedabad on Saturday, was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Maniesh Paul. He is well known for films such as Tanu Weds Manu (2011), Raanjhanaa (2013), Tanu Weds Manu: Returns (2015) and Zero (2018). Krishna DK One half of the directorial duo Raj & DK, Krishna DK is a writer-director best known for The Family Man, Farzi and Citadel: Honey Bunny. Raj Nidimoru Raj Nidimoru is an Indian filmmaker best known as one-half of the creative duo Raj & DK. He is known for films like 99 (2009) and Shor in the City (2011), Go Goa Gone (2013) and shows like The Family Man and Farzi (2023). Om Raut Om Raut is best known for directing Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Adipurush. He made his directorial debut with the Marathi film Lokmanya Ek Yugpurush (2015) and won the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director for the same. Suresh Triveni Suresh Triveni has directed Tumhari Sulu, Subedar and Jalsa. Ramesh Taurani Ramesh Taurani is a prominent film producer and co-founder of Tips Industries. He has produced numerous successful Bollywood films such as Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Kismat Konnection, Soldier, Race and more. Nitesh Tiwari Nitesh Tiwari is known for the critically acclaimed film Dangal (2016) and as well as Chhichhore (2019). His much-awaited films include Ramayana Parts 1 and 2. Sujoy Ghosh Sujoy Ghosh is renowned for his work in Hindi cinema and thrillers and gained widespread recognition with Kahaani (2012). He is also known for Jhankaar Beats (2003), Ahalya (2015) and Badla (2019). Vishnuvardhan Vishnuvardhan is a director-writer, best known for Shershaah (2021), Arrambam (2013) and Sarvam (2009). Urmila Matondkar A remarkable Indian actress, Urmila is known for her versatile performances in films such as Rangeela (1995), Judaai (1997), Bhoot (2003), and Pinjar (2003). Usha Uthup Usha Uthup is a legendary singer known for her distinctive deep voice. She gained popularity with hits such as Rambha Ho, Hari Om Hari, and Aa Jaane Jaan, among others, and has performed in multiple languages across India. Zoya Akhtar Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar is celebrated for her sharp storytelling and is known for churning out hits such as Luck By Chance, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do and Gully Boy. Technical and Writing Jury Ajitpal Singh A self-taught filmmaker, Ajitpal Singh made a mark with Fire in the Mountains (2021), Rammat-Gammat (2018) and Tabbar (2021). Ashwini Iyer Tiwari Ashwini Iyer Tiwari started off with advertising and transitioned into filmmaking. She is known for directing Nil Battey Sannata, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Faadu. Amit Masurkar Amit Masurkar directed Sulemani Keeda and Newton, the latter of which was India's official entry to the Oscars. Alankrita Srivastava Alankrita Shrivastava has carved her space in cinema with stories such as Lipstick Under My Burkha, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, and Made in Heaven.

Avinash ArunAvinash Arun is a director-cinematographer, known for his nuanced storytelling.
