19 Kids and Counting alum Amy Duggar King has found peace in her life thanks to husband Dillon King. In her October 2025 memoir, Holy Disruptor, Amy looked back on the early days of her relationship with Dillon, whom she met in a bar through friends. "I expected Dillon to throw out some kind of pickup line, but instead, he insulted me!" she wrote. "He looked me up and down and said, 'What the heck are you wearing?' ... I laughed, surprised and amused." At the time, Amy believed Dillon was "definitely not boyfriend material" because he was "a ladies' man.
