Darren Gerrish / Getty Images It's worth noting that Brooklyn is currently thought to be estranged from his famous family, reportedly due to tension between him and his billionaire heiress wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, and his brothers and parents. Dave Benett / Getty Images Still, now 26 years old, Brooklyn has become somewhat of a meme for how he has been relentlessly ridiculed on the internet for very publicly drifting from career to career in a bid to find his calling. Phillip Faraone / Getty Images It all started when he was let go by Arsenal Football Club at 16 years old after being signed up as a youth prospect. He then had a very high-profile venture into photography, even releasing a photography book called What I See at just 18 years old, which faced brutal scrutiny and arguably secured Brooklyn's long-running position as social media's punching bag. Jim Spellman / Getty Images After photography, Brooklyn tried his hand at modeling, and then turned to cooking in 2022, which he has stuck with so far - even releasing his own hot sauce range just last year. Brooklyn's younger brothers have also dipped their toes into public-facing careers, with 23-year-old Romeo Beckham a successful model, and 20-year-old Cruz Beckham keen to venture into the music industry. The brothers also have a 14-year-old sister, Harper, who does not yet have a public profile. Frazer Harrison / Getty Images Speaking to the Sun, per People, it all started when Victoria excitedly shared that Cruz has music coming out soon, adding: "He's spent the last 10 years learning his craft.""He taught himself to play about seven instruments," she went on. "He writes his own songs, he's put a band together. He's properly done it from the grassroots up. He hasn't just come in and sung his songs, or demanded anything." Victoria also said that the "industry has changed so much" that she wasn't able to give him "any advice," adding: "But I told him: 'Don't expect immediate success.' It's almost better if it isn't an immediate success." I mean, I feel sorry for these kids that are considered nepo babies, the kids are simply the kids of their parents. It's not their fault, give them a chance." Samir Hussein / Getty Images "What matters is that people are good and kind," she went on. "It is fine to be ambitious, but it is more important to be kind."Victoria then added of Cruz's career move: "Let the music speak for itself before you judge."
