South films being remade in Hindi were a massive trend until a few years ago. However, with the advent of OTT, that remake trend has slowed down a bit. But it looks like the trend is about to make a return in full swing. According to the latest reports, Venkatesh's Telugu blockbuster Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is all set to be remade in Hindi, with none other than Akshay Kumar stepping into the lead role.
