Another week, another killer lineup of shows and films that just debuted on streaming. From Netflix to Peacock, the platforms are always updating their catalogues with the newest content, a mix of originals and new-to-streaming. And this past week saw some fantastic additions that you will have to catch up on this week. Watch With Us's list includes The Woman in Cabin 10, a psychological thriller based on the novel by best-selling author Ruth Ware, and the streaming debut of Boots, a new Netflix comedy that's already one of our favorites of the year. 7 New Shows to Watch This Weekend on Netflix, Prime Video and More (October 10-12) 'The Woman in Cabin 10' (2025) Aboard a lavish cruiser, Lo (Keira Knightley), an investigative journalist, is there on assignment when she witnesses a passenger being pushed overboard. However, when the woman's room is investigated, it appears spotless and untouched - as if no one had ever been inside it. All crew and passengers have been accounted for, and there's no record of the woman Lo saw. Potentially putting her life at risk, Lo commits herself to finding the truth behind the crime she swears she saw, and its ensuing cover-up. Fans of pulpy crime thrillers will have a field day with The Woman in Cabin 10, and with a lead performance from Knightley, you know you're in good hands. The narrative boasts a snappy, suspenseful mystery that will keep you hooked and a killer supporting cast that includes Guy Pearce and Hannah Waddingham. 'Boots' Season 1 Closeted teenager Cameron Cope (Miles Heizer) endured relentless bullying in high school and lives with his deeply religious parents, so he sets off to join the Marine Corps with his straight best friend. This was a dangerous move in the 1990s, as being gay in the military was illegal and could result in jail time or worse. However, Cameron keeps his secret and weathers the first week of boot camp as he plunges into a radical coming-of-age transformation. Boots is based on the memoir The Pink Marine by Greg Cope White, but has a bit of a personal angle for series creator Andy Parker as well. The series will make you cry and laugh in equal measure in its empathetic exploration of gay masculinity, and in watching Cameron's emotional, physical and mental journey towards radical self-acceptance. Watch Boots now on Netflix. 'John Candy: I Like Me' (2025) Colin Hanks directs this fascinating portrait of the life of beloved comic actor John Candy, who passed away tragically at the age of 43. Using a mix of rare, never-before-seen- seen footage, including outtakes, private home movies, archival material, audio commentary and interviews with friends and collaborators, Hanks chronicles Candy's life as a young sketch comedian with Second City Television to his glory days as a massively successful film star in the '80s and '90s. Fans of comedy classics like Planes, Trains and Automobiles and Splash will find a lot to love in John Candy: I Like Me, which is an affectionate tribute to a comic talent who was taken off the stage far too early. 'The Bikeriders ' (2024) In the 1960s, local Chicago woman Kathy Bauer (Jodie Comer) meets hot-headed biker Benny (Austin Butler) and they marry five weeks later. Kathy becomes ingratiated with the Vandals Motorcycle Club (based on the real-life Outlaws Motorcycle Club), who ruled the streets of Chicago, led by their enigmatic leader, Johnny (Tom Hardy). But tensions mount as an agitation from within the group threatens Johnny's leadership. Netflix's Most Popular Movies - 3 You Need to Watch Now (October 13-17) The Bikeriders is based on the photo book of the same name by photographer Danny Lyon (played by Mike Faist in the film), and the film depicts Lyon traveling around with the Vandals, interviewing them and creating a photo portrait of their lives. The moving drama film bears a rough authenticity from director Jeff Nichols and powerhouse emotional performances from the cast. 'The Chair Company' Season 1 Fans of Tim Robinson's absurdist brand of comedy can't go wrong with his newest venture, The Chair Company. Robinson and I Think You Should Leave co-creator Zach Kanin created this surreal mystery series about William "Ron" Trosper (Robinson), whose embarrassing moment at work leads him down a conspiratorial rabbit hole.
