But while details of the Disney+ show have been kept under wraps, some updates have finally been announced. Disney/Marvel Studios/Abdullah İlhan / Via youtube.com During Marvel's Television and Animation panel at New York Comic Con this past Saturday, Paul Bettany, who plays Vision, and Brad Winderbaum, the head of Marvel Television, explained what's in store for White Vision after he gained Red (original) Vision's memories and flew away at the end of the series finale of WandaVision. Raven Ishak After making a surprise appearance at the panel, Paul said, "What's different about Vision right now is that Red Vision gave [White] Vision all of his memories, including the memories from within the Hex, but White Vision is having real difficulty sort of connecting to them. So he has the memories, but he doesn't have the emotion and the feelings. White Vision's journey during the show is about his attempt to connect to those memories of who he was â€" but with lasers." Raven Ishak Right after, the announcer asked Brad and Paul if the audience could see the trailer, to which Brad said, "Maybe if the audience gets loud enough." After the audience yelled, Paul followed, "I think we should roll it." What appeared on screen was a human-looking form of Vision with the song "Welcome to My World" by Jim Reeves playing in the background. Human Vision arrives at a mansion, where he is greeted by all the human forms of artificial intelligence assistants that have previously appeared throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including J.A.R.V.I.S. and Dum-E from Iron Man, E.D.I.T.H. from Spider-Man: Far From Home, and F.R.I.D.A.Y. from Avengers: Age of Ultron. Disney/Marvel Studios/yesterday / Via youtube.com James D'Arcy, who played Edwin Jarvis in Agent Carter, returns as J.A.R.V.I.S. Plus, in one scene, you see E.D.I.T.H. played by Emily Hampshire, crash into the mansion, saying, "Maybe I wanted to crash through the skylight, huh?" Next, quick snippets of scenes are flashed as what appear to be memories from past experiences Vision has had, with one memory revealing the "W+V" heart that looks eerily similar to the one from WandaVision. Disney/Marvel Studios/Lalisa Manoban / Via youtube.com James Spader's voice, who played Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron, bellows over the scenes: "I see a vision. You're a ghost, hunting her footsteps. The past doesn't make one want to live â€" the future does." You also see him in human form throughout the trailer. Disney/Marvel Studios/John Nemesis / Via youtube.com Finally, a young man appears, and Vision and Ultron seem to be looking at him through a TV screen. While no names are said, it's assumed to be an adult version of Tommy, Vision and Wanda's son, played by Ruaridh Mollica. All Powers Explained/Disney/Marvel Studios / Via youtube.com In a separate interview with Marvel, Paul added, "There's a lot going on for Vision, and he has to get to a place of acceptance of who he is â€" but first, he has to figure out who he is. It's about intergenerational pain â€" but with lasers." @marvelstudios / Via instagram.com And it seems fans are already on board to navigate this trauma together: "When visionquest ends up with 'okay kids let's find your mother,'" one person said.
