David Eulitt / Getty Images As you can probably imagine, signed CDs were one of the many variants that Taylor offered her fanbase in the lead-up to the album's release, and over the weekend, multiple people came forward to reveal that theirs had a second signature scrawled across them. TikTok @underthestarsz_ / Via tiktok.com One tweet, which has been liked more than 29,000 times, says of the revelation: "we are not fucking fans of your boyfriend we are fans of YOU and YOU are making the music and the money but you're letting him into your career bc of your fuckass rose colored glasses." Thestewartofny / Getty Images Another popular tweet points out: "ppl don't purchase signed things for a signature from the artists fiancĂ©."Somebody else wrote: "this is literally just sooo weird like.. thats YOUR art why would you think that your fans would want your boyfriends signature??? its so presumptuous and odd. a normal person would have declined if she asked him to sign it, bc its not his art.""so glad i spent 0 dollars this era.... the way i would have been so annoyed because why would a man be there," one fan added. "WHY WOULD A MAN BE THERE??????" another popular reply simply asks. Others reiterated just how off this move is by making comparisons to other celebrities, with a hugely popular tweet reading: "imagine buying a signed eternal sunshine album and ethan slaters signature is in there." They wrote: "I can't wait for men who bought signed helmets get a surprise Taylor Swift signature." Icon Sportswire / Getty Images It was also argued that Sabrina Carpenter, who collaborated with Taylor on the album's title track, would have been a more appropriate autograph, with one tweet reading: "i don't want any men near my signed cd, sabrina's would've been a cute addition since she's a collaborator but why travis?" In case you missed it, the star told Jimmy Fallon last week that she is "too locked in" to Travis's football season to also want to be on the field during such a huge event in his industry. David Eulitt / Getty Images It's worth noting that Taylor has been centering Travis throughout her album rollout, mentioning him in pretty much every one of her interviews, as well as including songs about him on the album - which Travis himself has publicly reacted to. New Heights It comes after the Grammy-winning artist announced the record on Travis's podcast, New Heights, earlier this year, which was filmed on the same day that the two got engaged. Taylor and Travis started dating in July 2023 - just three months after Taylor ended her six-and-a-half-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, and just two months after her split from singer Matty Healy.
