The singer-actor, who was engaged to the former child star for two months in 2020, appeared to be abusing nitrous oxide during the incident, which he partially live-streamed on Instagram. A recording of the stream shows the onetime The Young and the Restless actor demanding his mother's phone as she cries in a bathroom. Ehrich can also be seen inhaling from a nitrous tank while watching Wicked. At one point, he appears to shove his mom, who then cowers away from him. It was the third time he was arrested on domestic violence charges and his third arrest in about a year following two DUI arrests in 2024. _ Ugly Betty star Eric Mabius was arrested for battery and resisting arrest after fighting two women at an Irish-themed bar in Fernandina Beach, Fla., on February 20.
According to a police report reviewed by People, Mabius was "extremely intoxicated and kept trying to yell at everyone" before knocking two women to the ground. A witness told police that he "got on top" of one woman, "pulling her hair" and "ripping a handful ... from her scalp" until other patrons separated them.
He reportedly became "more belligerent" when police arrived and refused to follow their "simple commands," prompting them to arrest him.
