Demi Moore is back in her bangs era. Moore, 62, showed off her new hairstyle - which was a blast from the past - via Instagram on Monday, October 6. In the sultry shot, Moore gazed into the camera while showing off a wispy fringe. Her long, brunette strands cascaded to her hips while her bangs were partially split over her forehead and cut slightly past her eyebrows. Courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, Moore's tresses were styled in loose waves. The Substance actress styled her new 'do with a white T-shirt, which she tucked into dark blue skinny teams and a turquoise-beaded choker. Moore complemented her haircut by showing off her natural beauty. Demi Moore Is Open to Letting Her Hair Go Gray: 'I Think It's Striking' The screen siren previously had bangs while playing Erin Grant in Striptease, which premiered in 1996. At the time, her fringe was cut to her brows with the rest of her tresses blended into angles and cut at her waist. "Bangs - now and then," Moore captioned the post. "Thank you @gucci for letting me bring back the fringe for the first time since the Striptease days!" Her celebrity friends and fans went wild for her new look in the comments section. "My girl 😍," Keke Palmer wrote, as Giannetos added, "My dream girl ❤️." One social media user raved, "Your hair is simply AMAZING." A second gushed, "Obsessed. Looking so 🔥🔥🔥🔥." Through the years, Moore has been known for her signature long brunette strands, which she opened up about to People in April. Ron Galella, Ltd./Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images "I have grown quite attached to my hair," she said. "From a certain point of having had no hair," she added, referring to when she played Lieutenant Jordan O'Neil in 1997's G.I. Jane. Moore also had a short style when she portrayed Molly in Ghost. She recalled chopping her mane - without telling the director of Ghost, Jerry Zucker - while visiting Paris. "I was a first-time mother and went on a vacation to Paris. And I'd been carrying around a picture in my wallet of Isabella Rossellini with this gorgeous short haircut for years, waiting for the opportunity," she said. "I don't know if it was hormonal post-pregnancy, but I literally walked down the corner, from where we were staying in Paris, speaking no French, pulled out this picture and said [to a stylist], 'Can I have this?'" She shared that she didn't want "intentionally" to shock the cast with her pixie cut, but "they really did come around to see [the vision]." Demi Moore Dons Ethereal Gold Glam at the 2025 Golden Globes "I think I really just needed a change," she added. (Moore shares daughters Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31, with ex-husband Bruce Willis.) She also told People that someday she'll embrace growing out her gray strands. "Oh 100 percent. I look at women who have that incredible gray, especially long, and I think it's striking," she praised. "I would definitely do it. I just don't have enough to make it interesting. Mine's like a smattering that makes my hair look murky. I didn't really start coloring my hair until I was, like, 55."
