Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez has been married to wife Perry Mattfeld since 2023. The couple met in 2017 through mutual friend Scotty McKnight, who officiated their wedding, and kicked off their years-long romance. Most of the early days of their romance was "long-distance," Mattfeld told The Knot in May 2023. When they were quarantined together during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, both Mattfeld and Sanchez knew they were meant to be. "That year was really the first time we were like, 'This is it. This is our life,'" Mattfeld said at the time.
