The Kerala government has appointed Prakash Raj as chairperson of the jury for the 2024 Kerala State Film Awards, placing one of Indian cinema's most respected figures at the centre of this year's competition. A five-time National Award winner, Prakash Raj has delivered iconic performances across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English films, and has also directed five projects. Most recently, he appeared in Dhanush's Idli Kadai.
