Despite the serious nature of the disease, Dane has remained determined to carry on, returning to work on Euphoria shortly after the announcement. He recently met with lawmakers on Capitol Hill alongside ALS nonprofit I Am ALS, aiming to raise $1 billion for research over the next three years.
