Justin denied the claims, and in a countersuit, he alleged that Blake had used her friendship with Taylor to try and take control of the script. One lyric describes someone "cloaked in Gucci and in scandal," which many believe is a reference to Blake's role as a brand ambassador of Gucci's Première fragrance. Another lyric mentions "poison thorny flowers," possibly alluding to Blake's It Ends With Us character, Lily, who owned a flower shop.
