Danielle Fishel is making it clear there's no drama in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom with Whitney Leavitt. "It's a roller-coaster of emotions. We can be happy for ourselves and our friends that were safe and also sad that somebody is gone," Fishel, 44, told TMZ after practicing for the ABC reality show on Wednesday, October 1. "I definitely did not put her in her place. But I just went to comfort my friend." During the Tuesday, September 30, episode of Dancing With the Stars, some viewers questioned an interaction between Fishel and Leavitt, 32, in the final moments of the show. Shortly after cohosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro revealed the shocking results that Brandon Armstrong and Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui were eliminated from the competition, the camera caught the reaction from various Dancing With the Stars contestants and pro dancers. How MomTok Is Supporting Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck on 'DWTS' At one point, Leavitt appeared to go from visibly excited to very serious after interacting with Fishel. While some thought it was the Boy Meets World actress who shaded The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, another angle suggests they simply shared a quick laugh after accidentally bumping into each other. ABC Regardless of what the internet is trying to create, both Leavitt and Fishel appear focused on their next dance, which will be part of the show's Disney Week. They also are both grateful that America's votes helped them move on to the next round of competition. "I'm feeling so good," Fishel exclusively told Us Weekly after dancing during TikTok Week. "I feel it was nice to go early too. It's really nice when you get to watch a couple of performances and then do your own and then you just get to enjoy the whole night. It's such a spectacle." Leavett was also thrilled to receive such high scores (24 out of 30) after dancing the samba to "Shake Ya Ass" by Mystikal. "It feels great. I know we put a lot of work into this dance, just like the other two dances, but this one, specifically, at least for me, was really intimidating," Leavett explained to Us. "So being able to get the highest scores that we've gotten, it was very rewarding." No matter how hard each team works, America ultimately has the final decision on who stays and who goes. How Do 'DWTS' Couples Plan Their TikToks? Season 34 Secrets Revealed And while some may think the pressure is solely on the celebrity contestant, one pro dancer said that may not be the case. "There's such a huge responsibility that is put on the pro," Val Chmerkovskiy shared on the Friday, October 3, episode of iHeartRadio's "Danielle With the Stars" podcast. "My empathy was more immediate with Brandon. Obviously, I feel bad for Lauren. But I just made sure that he knows that this isn't a reflection on his professional capabilities, but rather things that potentially are out of your control."
