I also share what's all over my FYP, like the first trailer for Emily Henry's People We Meet on Vacation. There's also what we've got going on over on BuzzFeed Celeb's YouTube channel, and I share what I believe is the best horror movie of all time. Let's go! Sign me up Michael Gibson / Netflix Streaming on Netflix The town of Tall Pines might seem perfect on the outside, but dark secrets lurk behind every closed door. When police officer Alex Dempsey (Mae Martin) and his pregnant wife Laura (Sarah Gadon) move into their new home, he soon connects with Abbie (Sydney Topliffe) and Leila (Alyvia Alyn Lind), two students from the local school for "troubled teens," who are desperate to escape. As Alex begins investigating a series of unusual incidents, Evelyn (Toni Collette), the school's mysterious leader, becomes his prime suspect. Michael Gibson / Netflix Created by Martin, who I have personally adored since Netflix's Feel Good, Wayward is just the right amount of spooky and jaw-dropping, with me literally saying "WTF?!" out loud, alone in my apartment, several times. And when you've got Collette locked in playing an unhinged cult leader, honestly, what's not to love? This was an easy binge-watch that's definitely worth watching. Plus, it has great LGBTQ+ representation. Netflix Slow Horses - watch for: The best spy series with the best cast Apple TV+ Streaming on Apple TV+; new episodes every Wednesday My favorite dysfunctional group of British intelligence agents is back for Slow Horses Season 5. In this new season, it's Roddy Ho (Christopher Chung) who is in the hot seat when he begins dating a glamorous new girl that no one seems to trust. When a series of events begins to unfold across the city, Slow Horses are tasked with determining how everything is connected. After all, Lamb (Gary Oldman) knows the world of espionage a little too well. Apple TV+ Now, I understand it's, like, me and a bunch of dads who probably love this show the most, but I swear it's worth catching up on. It's another great British crime drama. And in the age of shows taking FOREVER to release new seasons, Slow Horses comes out consistently every single year. Honestly, a big plus for this show. Plus, I need more people to fawn over Jack Lowden with me, because he makes the perfect leading man. Apple TV+ Monster: The Ed Gein Story - watch for: Charlie Hunnam's terrifying transformation Netflix Streaming on Netflix The third installment in Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan's Monster anthology series is about Ed Gein, one of the most notorious serial killers in the world. Starring Charlie Hunnam, the series is set in 1950s rural Wisconsin, where recluse Eddie Gein (Hunnam) lives on a decaying farm, hiding in a house of horrors. Driven by isolation and an all-consuming obsession with his mother (Laurie Metcalf), Gein's crimes would become so renowned that they would birth countless fictional monsters and stories such as Psycho, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and The Silence of the Lambs. Simply put, this is how Ed Gein became the blueprint for modern horror. Netflix Like previous Monster seasons, this limited series isn't for the faint of heart, and I'm going to have a hard time watching Hunnam in anything else for a while. Also, if you're like me and love true crime and want to read about even more spooky real-life horrors, Crystal's got you covered with her newsletter, That Got Dark. Netflix BuzzFeed Is anyone else absolutely obsessed with Dancing with the Stars this season?! Well, if you are, we had Robert Irwin play with puppies while answering a ton of questions about himself, his wildlife work, and how he feels like he "hit the jackpot" with Witney Carson as his partner on DWTS. He shared his favorite animal fact - did you know that crocodiles can hold their breath for eight hours?! - the reason why he wants to appear (and die) in a Jurassic Park movie, his childhood celebrity crush, his love languages, and why he feels honored when people DM him about his dad, Steve Irwin.
