The Oct. 4 episode marks the Puerto Rican musician's second time hosting the late night comedy sketch series. However, Bad Bunny made a guest appearance in season 50 finale, meaning he'll be in two back-to-back episodes. In a promo released Wednesday, the castmembers of SNL - which underwent a massive roster overhaul this summer - are pondering whether or not Bad Bunny is feeling a little too comfortable on the set of the New York-based show. The promo clips show him stealing Jane Wickline's toothbrush and calling newly appointed featured player Ben Marshall a "slut." The second batch of promotional clips, released Thursday, shows Bad Bunny along with this week's musical guest, Doja Cat, on stage with castmember Chloe Fineman. Feeling a bit left out over the fact that both Doja Cat and Bad Bunny have animals in their name, Fineman spends the first promo workshopping new last names, including "Salamander" and "Lion." The other clips include a bit about Bad Bunny knowing how to host and, of course, a nod to his upcoming gig hosting the Super Bowl. On Sunday, it was announced that Bad Bunny would be the headliner for the 2026 Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show. He posted to X (formerly Twitter) after the announcement saying in Spanish, "After speaking with my team, I think I'll do just one show in the United States," a reference to a recent interview where he said he opted out of U.S. tour dates due to concerns about ICE raids. On Wednesday, days after the headlining announcement, Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski told YouTuber Benny Johnson that ICE will be present at the 2026 Super Bowl.
