Jason Taylor gave sports fans a serious case of deja-vu during Monday Night Football. When the Miami Dolphins took on the New York Jets on Monday, September 29, cameras cut to Taylor, 51, who appeared to be caught in the infamous "Coldplay kiss cam" moment that went viral and made headlines this summer. In the clip, Taylor was in a VIP suite when a woman sat on his lap. As the cameras cut to the pair, the woman seemed to get out of the footage. Taylor, however, was sitting beside his wife, Monica. She happened to get up out of the shot right when the cameras panned to the couple, who have been married since 2020. Astronomer CEO Andy Byron's Coldplay Kiss Cam Scandal: What to Know The pair were attending the game to watch his son Mason - who plays for the Jets - and also cheer on Taylor's former NFL team. (Jason and his ex-wife, Katarina, share children Isaiah, Mason and Zoe. Jason is also dad to son Jordan, whom he and Moncia welcomed in 2021.) The viral moment came months after Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and coworker Kristin Cabot were shown on the jumbotron at Coldplay's gig at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, in July. When the pair were spotted with Byron's arms around Cabot, they quickly got out of the camera's view. "Whoa, look at these two. All right, come on. You're OK," Chris Martin said at the time. "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy. I'm not quite sure what to do." In the wake of the incident, reports indicated that Byron was married to Megan Kerrigan Byron. Amid the controversy, Bryon was placed on leave and later resigned from his role at the company. Coldplay's Chris Martin Warns Fans Over Kiss Cam After CEO Scandal "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met," Astronomer said in a statement to Us. "Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO." A spokesperson for Astronomer also confirmed to Us that Cabot had resigned from her role as chief people officer. According to a new report, Byron and Cabot were not having an affair when they were spotted on the Jumbotron. "Kristin and Andy had an excellent working relationship, a great friendship. There was no affair," a source close to Cabot shared with People in a report published on September 23. "It was inappropriate to be hugging your boss at a concert, and she accepts full responsibility for it. But the scandal, the downfall, the loss of the job - all of that is unfair." Coldplay Jumbotron Seemingly Exposes Astronomer CEO's Affair The insider claimed that Byron and Cabot attended the concert with a group of friends, noting that the online attention surrounding the incident has impacted the lives of many. "It is important to note how inappropriately mislabeled Kristin has been - as a homewrecker," the source said. "It's unfathomable to witness what has happened, and how devastating it can be, for not just individuals, but entire families. All I can think of is that this could happen to any of us at any time. I think all of the misinformation has been the most mind-blowing to witness." The insider continued, "These are real people and real families. The way people have taken a lot of enjoyment at their expense, it's hard to see." Us reached out to Astronomer for comment at the time. Neither Cabot nor Byron have publicly commented on the saga. Kristin reportedly filed for divorce from husband Andrew Cabot on August 13. A spokesperson for Andrew told People on September 8 that the pair "were privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert."
