The Putman family members have been making a name for themselves since starring on TLC's Meet the Putmans in 2017. The reality series followed the Putman family - Bill Putman and Barbara Putman, their four children, Billy Putman, Brandon Putman, Blake Putman and Blair Putman, their respective spouses and, at the time, 15 grandchildren - who were all living under the same roof. Following the show's cancellation after six episodes, the growing family continued to document their lives on their YouTube channel, Growing Up Putman. In September 2025, Bill, Barb and Blake's wife Megan Putman all died in a tragic car crash. "They have gone home to be with the Lord." The post revealed that other family members are still recovering from injuries from the deadly accident, including Blake, his daughters Lulu and Alena, his son Noah and Brandon and wife Kacie Putman's daughter, Gia. "We are asking for complete healing and strength for each of them," the family said. "My entire family ... all proclaimed that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. He is our hope, our peace and our salvation. Even in this time of heartbreak, we rest in knowing that God is in control." Barb wrote via their Growing Up Putman Instagram account four days before the tragic accident. "You are truly a blessing to me and our family. You inspire us each day through your strengths, wisdom and determination. You love us unconditionally and have always been consistent with that even through our faults. You never waiver from your love for Christ and you point us to Him each and every day." Barb went on to write that "as a husband" Bill loved her like "Christ loves the church." "I never take that for granted. As a dad and papa you are such a gift to our family," she gushed. "You are our safe place, our inspiration and encourager. You guide with patience, protect with strength and nurture from the heart always pointing us to Christ and wanting the best for each one of us. You are leaving a legacy for our children and our grandchildren they will carry with them forever." Barb added that Bill was her "best friend" and she was so "grateful" to have him as he brought so much "joy and laughter" to her life. "I am who I am because of you.
