"The reality is that senior aides have been working behind the scenes to improve what is a delicate but important private family relationship," the source said. _ Following reports that the afternoon tea between Prince Harry and King Charles III was "awkward" and more like an "official visit" than a meeting between father and son, the Spare author's spokesperson released a statement shutting down the rumors. "Recent reporting of the duke's view of the tone of the meeting is categorically false," the representative said. "The quotes attributed to him are pure invention fed, one can only assume, by sources intent on sabotaging any reconciliation between father and son." _ A separate source close to Prince Harry alleged that the Duke of Sussex believes people who are working for King Charles III are trying to keep them apart.
