James Manning - Pa Images / Getty Images On Sept. 27 at Forest Hills Stadium, the 24-year-old south London singer performed four songs, including "Spiders," "Fuck Everyone," "Dealer," and "Walk All Over You" from her third studio album I'm Only Fucking Myself. Marleen Moise / Getty Images Midway through the performance of her 2024 single "Conceited" from her second album, This Wasn't Meant for You Anyway, she appeared to communicate with her keyboardist before suddenly collapsing. Immediately, Lola's band, security, and team rushed to her aid and carried her offstage. "She's an incredibly talented artist, and she wasn't feeling well tonight," Doechii said. Marleen Moise / Getty Images The incident comes the day after her team canceled a Friday night gig at Audacy's We Can Survive concert at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, due to a "sensitive matter." Lola's manager, Nick Shymansky, who once discovered Amy Winehouse, shared an Instagram story announcing that Lola was pulled from the show at the last minute. "She is an incredible person and always takes her fans, career and performances seriously. I can only send huge apologies for the inconvenience caused." "I love this job and I never take my commitments and audience for granted so I'm sorry to those who will be disappointed by this." Several days before the festival, on Sept. 23, Lola performed at the National Sawdust in Brooklyn, also talking about her new album, her creative process, and the hit single "Messy."
