"I'm letting go of the body that was sexualized, that was abused, that I believed was necessary for me to be attractive; to be loved; to be successful; to be happy. And in doing so, I hope I am releasing my daughter Bella from ever feeling those same unhealthy demands." Arnold Jerocki / Getty Images Alyssa made it clear that she wasn't judging anyone who may get implants for their own reasons: "I want to be clear that many women will find freedom and beauty in choosing their implants. What is a false narrative for me may be the exact right thing for them, and I am so happy that we can all find our femininity and peace on our own terms." Amy Sussman / Getty Images She also shouted out Michelle Visage, who famously removed her breast implants in 2021 after getting "breast implant illness," which Michelle said caused symptoms like hair loss, pain, and fatigue. Alyssa wrote that she was "tremendously inspired" by her for being so "open and public" about her experience, which she said made it "easier for me and countless others to find our own way." Alberto E. Rodriguez / Getty Images "Today I am loved, I am feminine, I am attractive, and I am successful," she continued. "None of that is because of my implants. I will still be all of those things when I wake up and they are gone. There is so much and joy in that knowledge and freedom in letting go of what was never me in the first place.

Today, I'm my authentic self. Today, I'm free." Gerardo Mora / Getty Images Fans and peers quickly praised her honesty and vulnerability in the comments. Nicole Scherzinger commented, "Love you! Your liberation will inspire and liberate others!" @milano_alyssa / Via Instagram: @milano_alyssa Abbott Elementary's Lisa Ann Walter wrote, "Happy for you honey." @milano_alyssa / Via Instagram: @milano_alyssa While Melissa Gilbert of Little House on the Prairie shared, "Been there.
