Considering this is the last weekend in September, Peacock's movie lineup is holding up very well. However, this might be your last chance to watch several movies on the streamer, since Peacock is known for its heavy month-to-month turnover. Watch With Us has narrowed down our selections to three great Peacock movies you need to binge this weekend. Our picks include a terrific rock and roll drama, an underrated horror flick and one of the best movies that DreamWorks Animation has ever made. 3 New Peacock Movies With at Least 90 Percent on Rotten Tomatoes (September 2025) 'Almost Famous' (2000) This month marks the 25th anniversary of one of director Cameron Crowe's best movies, Almost Famous. Crowe drew upon his own life when coming up with the story of William Miller (Patrick Fugit), a teenage prodigy whose love for rock and roll gets him a gig at Rolling Stone. One of William's first major assignments sends him on the road with Stillwater, where he befriends the lead guitarist, Russell Hammond (Billy Crudup), and the other band members. William is also quite taken with one of the band's groupies, Penny Lane (Kate Hudson), who only has eyes for Russell. William also gets a first-hand look at the inner strife that may tear Stillwater apart, and his lack of objectivity about them may keep him from writing his breakthrough article. Almost Famous is streaming on Peacock. 'Drag Me to Hell' (2009) Director Sam Raimi has rarely gone with subtlety in his horror flicks, so you can rest assured that Drag Me to Hell will literally live up to its name. Alison Lohman stars as a bank loan officer named Christine Brown. Christine had the choice between demonstrating kindness to an elderly Romani client, Sylvia Ganush (Lorna Raver), or forcing Sylvia from her home in the hope of landing a promotion. 9 Must-Watch Movies on Peacock Right Now (September 2025) Christine made the wrong moral choice, and Sylvia's revenge is a curse that will torment her for three days before she will be pulled kicking and screaming to Hell, whether she's dead or alive. There's only so much that Christine's boyfriend, Clay Dalton (Justin Long), can do to help her. If Christine wants to break the curse, she'll have to make another hard choice. Drag Me to Hell is streaming on Peacock. 'Puss in Boots: The Last Wish' (2022) Out of the six Shrek-related films to date, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish just might be the best. It's a surprisingly emotional story for Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), as he faces the end of his nine lives. For the first time, Puss is truly aware of his mortality, and it frightens him. A Chihuahua named Perrito (Harvey Guillén) reawakens Puss' desire to keep living with a new quest to find the Wishing Star. Puss wants to use the star to restore his lost lives, but he isn't the only one who has a heartfelt wish to make. His former fiancée, Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek), needs it as well. The Wishing Star has also drawn the attention of Big Jack Horner (John Mulaney), a monstrous man who wants to use it to control all magic. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is streaming on Peacock.
