Further details about the circumstances of Sophia Hutchins' sudden death at age 29 have come to light. Hutchins, Caitlyn Jenner's friend and manager, did not have any alcohol or drugs in her system at the time of her fatal ATV crash, according to a recent medical examiner's report obtained by Us Weekly. Hutchins' autopsy confirmed there were no benzodiazepines, an anti-anxiety medication, in her system despite an initial test allegedly finding the opposite. Hutchins died in July after riding on an ATV that crashed into another car. Her vehicle subsequently fell 350 feet into a ravine. Hutchins' cause of death was ruled as accidental from multiple blunt force injuries. (Two individuals were in the car that collided with Hutchins' vehicle and they were uninjured.) Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officer Eduardo Saucedo later offered details into the circumstances of the accident. Sophia Hutchins' Cause of Death Revealed 2 Weeks After ATV Accident "It looks like she may have been speeding and rear-ended the other car, the other party, and then that caused her to veer to the right and go off the cliff," Saucedo told the Daily Mail in July. "It doesn't seem like she was following them. I think she just came up on them and then hit the car." Saucedo added, "She was going too fast and just ended up clipping the rear end of that Mazda, causing her to veer off and go off the cliff there." Hutchins had worked as Jenner's manager for many years prior to her tragic death. "Recently, my good friend Sophia passed away in a tragic accident," Jenner, 75, said during an appearance on Fox News at Night last month, while discussing a recent church shooting in Minnesota. "For the last seven weeks, I've been dealing with death, and it's so difficult. So, when this [tragedy] happened, it really hit me hard." Inside Caitlyn Jenner's Friendship With Late Sophia Hutchins The I Am Cait alum added, "Here I am dealing with my grief, and I just can't even imagine parents who dropped their kid off at school and, like that father just said, 'I'll never get a chance to talk to him again.' That is just so horrible. I've been dealing with grief, and these people have a long road ahead of them, and they're going to be dealing with grief." Jenner had broken her silence on Hutchins' death weeks earlier, telling the Daily Mail in July that she was navigating "tough times." Hutchins and Jenner had been friends since 2015. "We met through our hairstylists," Hutchins said on the "Juicy Scoop" podcast in 2020. "He was doing my hair one day and was like, 'I'm going to a photo shoot after this, something with Caitlyn and MAC. And Caitlyn would like to meet you.'"
