Adam Brody and Kristen Bell in Nobody Wants This Season 2. (Erin Simkin/Netflix)Our favorite interfaith couple is back. Netflix released the Season 2 trailer for Nobody Wants This, starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, on Thursday. The sophomore season, which premieres next month, teases more twists and turns in the relationship between Joanne (Bell) and Noah (Brody) as they navigate their differing faiths - or lack thereof.

Created by Erin Foster, the Emmy-winning rom-com charts the whirlwind romance between Joanne and Noah, two Los Angeles natives who fall for each other despite their differing views on religion. Joanne is an unapologetic, agnostic sex podcaster, while Noah is a people-pleasing "hot rabbi" who dreams of becoming the head rabbi of his congregation. Their staunchly dissimilar paths converge one night, and Noah, fresh out of a breakup, falls for Joanne. Joanne, unsure of her worthiness of love, initially struggles to reciprocate Noah's feelings, though she eventually falls hard for him, too.

Season 2 follows the next chapter of Joanne and Noah's relationship. The trailer sees Joanne and Noah enjoying the honeymoon phase of early coupledom, and tensions seem to have somewhat alleviated between Noah's Jewish family and Joanne: She's present at family get-togethers and even appears to be getting along with Noah's ex-girlfriend's best friend (Jackie Tohn).

Joanne momentarily resolves to convert to Judaism, but she ultimately realizes, in the finale, that it's a step she isn't ready for - and ends things with Noah as a result.A breakup seems imminent, though Noah reaches a conclusion of his own: He wants to be with Joanne, regardless of her religion. The lovebirds kiss and make up, choosing instead to prioritize their love for each other above all else.

He is one of the handful of actors who never feel as though they're saying written lines. He is so natural with his delivery that it doesn't just keep you on your toes - it almost knocks you off your center in a great way because he's just talking to you."She added about The O.C. star that "he's also the type of scene partner and actor where if a glass shatters mid-take or a pen drops or one of us has mustard on our face, he will be natural and evolve it into the scene, which gives me permission to do so."Watch the full trailer for Nobody Wants This Season 2 below:If you buy something through a link in this article, we may earn commission.
