In Hulk Hogan's decades-long career, the former WWE legend has gone from professional wrestler to reality television star to beer seller before his death in July 2025. In March, drama in the Hogan family began to bubble to the surface when daughter Brooke, 35, revealed that she was distancing herself from her family, including Hulk and her mom Linda Hogan. Hulk and Linda were married between 1983 and 2009, and, along with Brooke, 36, share son Nick, 34. The family was the focus of a reality series titled Hogan Knows Best, which ran for four seasons between 2005 and 2007. In 2015, Hogan was fired from WWE and suspended from the WWE Hall of Fame after a leaked recording surfaced of him using a racial slur, for which he has since apologized. The retired pro wrestler was reinstated in the WWE Hall of Fame three years later. Hogan returned to Monday Night Raw on Netflix in January 2025, where the wrestling legend was aggressively booed by the crowd. "I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs," Hogan said in a statement provided to Us Weekly at the time. "It is not who I am. I continue to work every day to improve as a person, and this matter is an important learning experience for me in that regard. As a result I am resigning from my contractual relationship with the WWE." Brooke had come to her dad's defense at the time, calling him an "easy target." "He's my dad, I love him," she told Entertainment Tonight, "and the reason I'm standing by his side on this whole thing is because I know him, and it's so easy for people to just - they need something to jump down people's backs about." 2018 Hogan was reinstated as a WWE Hall of Famer in 2018 and stepped back into the ring for Monday Night Raw in January 2019. "He's obviously such a huge part of our history. There's no denying his place in the business but he's made some serious mistakes," Triple H, WWE star and vice president of talent, exclusively told Us in May 2018. "I think he [can] use those mistakes in his attempt to show others that you can make mistakes and what to do and not to do along the way." The same year Hogan made his Hall of Fame return, Brooke returned to reality television with MTV's Champs vs. Stars. "I called my dad and I'm like, 'I should have never done TV again. It was better being normal,'" she exclusively told Us at the time. "And he was just like, 'Stick it out, baby. You're gonna be great. Just focus on the competition. Stay positive.'" 2020 Hogan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame a second time as a member of the New World Order (NWO) wrestling group. 2021 Hulk and his second wife Jennifer McDainel divorced. The pair had been married since 2010. He confirmed their divorce via social media in 2022 when he began dating Sky Daily. July 2023 Hulk got engaged to girlfriend Sky after over one year of dating. At the time, the retired wrestler blamed the ending of his previous two marriages, in part, on his abuse of alcohol. "I've been with my girl Sky for a while, and everything that I've ever had happened in my life - both of my two marriages - everything bad that's ever happened to me had to do with alcohol," he said during the "This Past Weekend" podcast at the time. "During those marriages, there was a lot of alcohol use. But then, when I got with Sky, I started getting an edge [when drinking.] I'd dig and start s-. And all of a sudden, I started losing something I didn't want to lose again. So I said I'm done drinking." September 2023 Sky and Hulk tied the knot after just two months of engagement. At the time, Brooke was not there for her father's nuptials. Her brother Nick, however, was in attendance. In a lengthy post shared via Instagram, Brooke noted that the "dynamics of a family unit continuously change over the years." "With that being said, my family has experienced a LOT of change. With all of it happening in the public eye, I've had to learn how to best navigate those changes as they come, which has been difficult to say the least," she said, adding that she had "chosen to create some distance between myself and my family, and am focusing on people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals, and values." With regards to her father, Brooke said, "I wish him well. ." June 2024 Hogan launches his beer company, Real American Beer. November 2024 Hulk endorsed President Donald Trump for reelection at the 2024 Republican National Convention. January 2025 WWE announced its partnership with Hulk's Real American Beer.
