Through posters hung in New York City and what appeared to be a music video teaser from a fan base account, the pop star is teasing the release of her next single, "The Subway" Thursday. The 27-year-old has played the song at multiple festivals but has yet to release a studio version. Roan played it just last month at Primavera Sound. The posters spotted around New York say, "Going through a break up? Get bangs!" with a picture of Roan. The video, which seemingly has a studio version of "The Subway," shows a moving truck with a license plate "THE SBWY." As the truck rolls down the road, the pop star's signature red hair can be seen blowing in the wind as the truck passes a Saskatchewan welcome sign. The song's lyrics in the preview say, "I made a promise / If in four months these feelings ain't gone / Well, fuck this city / I'm moving to Saskatchewan." Ticket registration for the pop up shows opens July 24 and runs through July 27 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Fans will be selected randomly between Aug. 5 and Aug. 7 for a chance to buy up to four tickets. More details on ticket registration can be found on the AXS website and Roan's website.
