Composer-actor GV Prakash bagged his second National Film Award, a recognition he calls, "an honour to cherish forever." He received the award for Best Music Direction (Songs) for the Tamil-Telugu film Vaathi, starring Dhanush. Talking to Filmfare about his win, he said, "Winning my second National Award is an honour I will cherish forever. Being recognised again for Vaathi is truly special. This film remains close to my heart not just for the music but for the creative journey I shared with Dhanush, an artiste who constantly inspires and pushes me to explore deeper layers of my craft.
