Sean "Diddy" Combs' children and several of his ex-girlfriends submitted letters on behalf of his character ahead of his upcoming sentencing. The disgraced mogul, 55, is set to be sentenced on Friday, October 3, following his July conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. (Diddy, who pleaded not guilty to all charges, was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.) "This situation has been really hard on all of us," wrote Diddy's daughter Chance, 19, whom he shares with Sarah Chapman. "It doesn't feel right at home without him here. We miss him every day, and I know how much he wants to be with us and face this situation responsibly. Some of my siblings do not have their mother and are now missing a father figure in their lives. We miss him deeply and need his presence, especially now." All six of Diddy's eldest children submitted letters on his behalf, as did his mother, Janice Combs, and exes Chapman, Yung Miami and Dana Tran. (Diddy shares youngest child, daughter Love, 2, with Tran.) Diddy's Family Guide: Meet His 7 Children, Their Mothers and More Diddy has been incarcerated at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center since his September 2024 arrest. Each count of transportation carries a maximum sentence of 10 years, but his attorneys have asked for a 14-month prison stay. Given that he has already spent over a year behind bars, a 14-month sentence would see him released before the end of the year. After Porter's split from Sure, Diddy adopted Quincy, which Quincy explained in his letter to Judge Arun Subramanian. "I was around 4 years old when my Pops came into my life, and he has been the only father figure in my life for as long as I can remember," Quincy wrote. "He stepped in and stepped up as a father, at an important time in my life, during my most formative years, in a way that no one else could have. He poured his love into me in a way that I couldn't quite recognize as a child, a love that I'd only received from women in my life. It was unconditional, safe and unwavering. It still is." He continued, "Our mom passed away in November 2018. Losing her was the hardest thing my siblings and I have ever dealt with. I think it was the hardest thing my Pops has ever dealt with too. Unexpectedly, he'd become the only person we could turn to. He became our rock." Quincy concluded by saying he hopes Diddy is released "immediately," writing, "Beyond the unconditional love and support he has provided to my siblings and I during our lifetime, my Pops has also always empowered us to become who we want to be. Now, we'd like to support and inspire him to become who he'd like to be in his next chapter of life. He needs us, just as much as we need him." Diddy's Sons Celebrate Father's Day Amid Trial: 'Waiting for You' at Home Justin Combs "Since his absence, life has felt incomplete. Each morning I wake up praying it was just a nightmare," wrote Justin, 31, whom Diddy shares with ex Misa Hylton. "My father has been there for me every day of my life - not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually and in the deepest sense of what it means to be a father. I know how rare that is." He went on to ask Subramanian "to see my father the way I do - not through headlines, but through the eyes of a son who loves and needs him. Please allow him the chance to come home, to be the father his children desperately need and to continue the work of becoming the man I know he is capable of being. My siblings and I cannot get back this lost time, but we pray you will give us the gift of having our father back in our lives while we still have time with him." Christian 'King' Combs "I'm asking you to please let my father out of jail!" began Christian, 27, who is the son of Diddy and Porter. "He does not deserve to be there and I know this from the bottom of my heart!! We have been through a year of lies and discrimination and dehumanization and loneliness and separation and extreme stress on the family. This is my dad and he is the best father in the whole world. He has never ever taught me anything but to treat people with the most respect possible and to never be entitled and to always work for what I want and to treat people with love and kindness most importantly!" Chance Combs "I am asking you from the bottom of my heart to consider him returning home to our family in October," wrote Diddy's eldest daughter. "My dad has always been our foundation. He's not only a hardworking businessman, but he's also the one who makes sure we're cared for and supported. He takes care of my grandmother, his elderly mother, and he's always been there for us, no matter what. We've missed so much over the past year with him and can't imagine him missing any more milestones in our lives." She added, "I understan
