Rishab Shetty is thankful to the audiences for the overwhelming response. He states that Kantara is a story that was born from his childhood stories and fantasies. He adds that the script was built based on stories from folklore, traditional and are deep rooted. As part of the pre-production, Rishab met writers, novelists, professors and academicians to further refine the story.
