On Sept. 18, the "my ex's best friend" singer sat down at The Jennifer Hudson Show and finally shared the insightful meaning behind his tattoos. Warner Bros. Tv / Getty Images When Jennifer asked about the meaning behind the blackout tattoo, MGK was straightforward about the reason behind it all. "I've realized through research that this is actually from someone who has extremely high anxiety," he said. Warner Bros. Tv / Getty Images "But in my head, it really interested me in redesigning the anatomy," he continued. "You know the skin is the largest organ that we have." Warner Bros. Tv / Getty Images "I've already had all tattoos since I was 13. My whole body's been covered for a long time, and I wanted to redesign what the human skin could look like, so I came up with, well I didn't, but a friend of mine named Roxx came up with this." View this photo on Instagram Roxx / Via Instagram: @machinegunkelly As someone with 10 tattoos of varying sizes, getting an entire blackout body tattoo sounds agonizing, and MGK confirmed it was indeed painful. "It was the worst torture I've ever...," he said before Jennifer asked if it was unbearable. "Yeah, I don't do, like, the going under and numbing and waking up, I don't do any of that," he responded. Warner Bros. "Yeah, I had to focus out, big mistake, but my morals stand," he added. Warner Bros. However, the father of two didn't cover up every major tattoo from his past.
