Bringing Up Bates alum Carlin Bates received a luxury push present after giving birth to her third baby. "Evan Stewart, you are kidding me right now?" Bates, 27, told her husband in a Thursday, September 18, Instagram video featuring Stewart presenting her with a Prada gift box. "What did you get me? Oh my gosh, no, you did not!" Bates, who was holding infant daughter Navy from her hospital bed, then told Stewart that he needed to open the box because she was "going to cry." "You pushed, but I [think] she kind of deserves something, too," Stewart said, unboxing the Prada purchase. "It's a diaper bag. [It has a] bottle holder [and] a mat thing." "Equipped with several pockets and a removable baby bottle holder, this baby bag with shoulder strap is made of innovative Re-Nylon," a website description reads. "[The fabric is] a regenerated yarn produced from recycled, purified plastic trash collected in the ocean, fishing nets and textile waste fibers." After Stewart opened up the bag, Bates was still in disbelief that she can cart Navy's infant gear around in such style. This is the most craziest push present gift of all time. I don't think I can take it, babe." Stewart subsequently advocated for his wife to accept the gift - a present some partners give a birthing parent as a "thank you" for going through the pains of labor and delivery - without hesitation. "Are you kidding me? You did it natural, don't forget," Stewart added. Bates Family Says Carlin's Baby Is 'Bright Spot' Amid Erin's Health Battle Carlin, one of Gil and Kelly Jo Bates' 19 children, further gushed about Stewart's surprise in an Instagram caption. "Still wrapping my head around everything - the birth, the emotions, how fast it all happened ... and then him," Carlin wrote. "In the middle of it all, he surprised me with the most thoughtful gift not just for me, but for us. He picked it out all on his own." She continued, "I didn't think I could love him more, but watching him become a father again reminded me just how lucky we are. I truly couldn't have done this without him. I love you more than words @evanpstewart16." Carlin's family members were also in awe of Stewart's thoughtfulness. "Soo sweet! You deserve it for sure," Carlin's sister-in-law Whitney Bates, who is married to Zach Bates, replied in the comments section. Sister Katie Bates, for her part, added, "This is so precious."
