A spokesperson for ABC confirmed to Us Weekly on Wednesday, September 17, that Jimmy Kimmel Live! would be "pre-empted indefinitely." Kimmel, 57, spoke about Tyler Robinson being arrested for Kirk's murder on the Monday, September 15, episode of the show.
